Candidates for this position should be detail-oriented and willing to learn. Machine operators should be able to follow instructions, work with others, and help ensure that all safety regulations are followed. Operates machines to punch, blank, or bend metal into shapes.
Machine Operator Responsibilities:
1.Perform functions necessary as prescribed by Work Order and Blueprint. Interpret
2. Blueprint and set-up equipment so that quality components to specification are produced with minimal input from others.
3. Perform First Piece/mid run inspections on fabricated parts as required.
4. Assure proper material types are loaded into equipment.
5. Maintain area cleanliness in accordance with 5S principles.
6. Clean equipment, tools and gauges to ensure they are safe and orderly at all times
Machine Operator Requirements:
1. Machine operating experience
2. Blueprint reading and mechanical abilities.
3. Must be able to read calipers and other metrology equipment.
4. Strong math skills (decimals, fractions, use of calculator).
5. Must be able to setup, operate and adjust machines as required.
6. Strong computer knowledge and skills.
7. Ability to perform moderate PM procedures.
8. Able to understand production planning requirements.
9. Must have excellent attendance record.
Job Type: Full-time
2nd Shift: 6: 30pm to 5am $16.00 per hour
