We are seeking a friendly and competent clerk to be the first point-of-contact at our client site. You will be responsible for answering the telephone and taking messages, greeting clients, data capturing, filing, and other duties listed below. The ideal candidate will enjoy interacting with people and have excellent organization and time management skills. Previous experience in a similar role is preferred. This position is scheduled on Mondays from 8am-12pm, AND Monday-Thursday from 3pm-9pm gaining roughly 28 hours/week.
Duties and Responsibilities
Welcome guests
Answering and routing phone calls
Communicate with clients and students regarding appointments and payments
Collect and tally monies daily
Transcribe, record, fax and file documents.
Operate office equipment such as photocopiers and fax machines.
Review and evaluate student files and records for missing documents
Calculate and provide information regarding student hours
Audit time and student hours for State Board
Payroll completion
Prepare weekly and monthly reports
Sort and forward incoming mail and emails, and prepare and send outgoing mail.
Coordinate activities and disseminate information to office staff.
Assist in class building
Adhering to and explaining office policies to students
Requirements and Qualifications
High School diploma with relevant experience.
1+ years of clerical work and customer service required
Strong Computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Word & Excel, and Google Docs
Time management and organizational skills.
Attention to detail.
Personable demeanor.
Ability to type 45 - 60 WPM (words per minute).
