Job Description
Chemical Packager, Gastonia NC
Job Summary:
Mega Force Staffing is Now Hiring for chemical packagers with at least 1 year forklift experience in the Gastonia, NC area.
- Must be able to perform the following skills:
- package Urethane chemical product
- use a torque gun to tighten caps
- label containers
- material handling, using a dolly, pallet jack.
- operate sit down forklift - EE must have 6 mon-1 year recent exp.
- unload empty drums by hand from trailers
- move empty drums to waste area with forklift\
- take packaged drums to staging area
- Housekeeping
- wear long sleeves, long pants, chemical smock, steel toe shoes, safety goggles, hard hat, protective face shield while packaging
- 12 hr shifts, 2nd and 3rd shifts available
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required
- 1 yr forklift experience
- have prior experience working around chemicals
- applicants must be willing to submit to pre-employment testing and screening
Rate of Pay: $16.76 per hour
