Shipping Associate in Warsaw, NC
Job Summary
We are seeking a hard-working and reliable Shipping Warehouse Associate to join our growing operation. In this role, you will work in our Shipping/Production Department, managing incoming and outgoing orders. Under the supervision of the warehouse manager, you will perform entry-level shipping, packing, labeling, and material-handling duties. We prefer candidates who have some warehouse experience, but we are willing to train.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Manufacturing experience needed, preferably in cabinet building/assembly.
• Accurately pack and ship orders in accordance with established standards
• Assemble boxes and prepare packaging materials to meet the specific requirements of each product.
• Ensure the shipping line is consistently stocked with necessary packaging and
• shipping materials, either proactively or as directed by supervisors.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment, adhering to
• cleanliness and organizational standards.
• Meet or exceed defined inbound/outbound metrics to support efficient operations.
• Safely operate warehouse equipment, including pallet jacks, hand trucks, and conveyors, to move inventory throughout the facility.
Requirements and Qualifications
• A high school diploma is required
• Solid work history that demonstrates reliability; warehouse work experience is a plus
• Able to work on your feet for 8-hour shifts and lift 30 lbs. regularly
• Basic computer skills for maintaining inventory logs and databases
• Good communication skills
