Fabricates and assembles metal screens by performing the following duties.
Pay $16 per hour
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
Lays out and marks reference points onto screen material (perforated and/or mesh material).
Fits and assembles components by operating machines such as arbor presses, riveting press, brazing machine, and resistance welding machines to complete assembly.
Welds components together.
Follows all company policies including attendance and safety
Demonstrates safe work practices.
Perform other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION:
High School diploma or GED preferred or combination of education and experience
EXPERIENCE:
1-2 years previous experience in a manufacturing setting; previous experience with welding or cutting preferred
MINIMUM REQUIRED SKILLS:
Must have solid understanding of basic math
Able to read blue prints and tape measure
Knowledge of spot welding helpful as well
Must be able to work assigned shift with overtime as needed
Must be able to comply with all safety guidelines and regulations

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to walk, talk, and/or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand, sit, and use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include: close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
