We are seeking a candidate with an eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and an upbeat attitude. Candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment while multi-tasking.
Duties and Responsibilities
Assists with administrative tasks
Answer central telephone system
Receives the public and answers questions; responds to inquiries from citizens and others and refers, when necessary, to appropriate people.
Receives, stamps and distributes incoming mail; processes outgoing mail and packages and distributes to departments.
Performs other duties as assigned
Maintains social media accounts, including websites
Requirements and Qualifications
High school diploma or GED
NC Driver's License Required
Prior administrative experience preferred
Familiarity with general office practices & procedures such as typing, filing, accounting and bookkeeping
2+ years of related experience or a combination of experience & education
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint, & Outlook
Attention to detail
Desire to be proactive and create a positive experience for others
Good communication skills
