Industrial Maintenance Opportunity in Greenville, NC
Job Summary
We are seeking a hard-working and reliable Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our growing team. In this role, In this role, you will be responsible for performing overall facility maintenance, including repairs and preventive maintenance on plant equipment and manufacturing machinery.
Duties and Responsibilities
? Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on manufacturing equipment. ? General maintenance activities on plant utility systems to ensure continuous supply of heat, steam, electrical power, chilled water, gas, and compressed air. ? Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and pneumatic systems. ? Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals. ? Troubleshoot electrical systems, including motors and variable frequency drives. ? Perform tasks involving industrial control wiring and troubleshooting. ? Conduct PLC troubleshooting and basic programming. ? Conduct inspections to identify wear, damage, or safety hazards. ? Maintain accurate maintenance logs and documentation. ? Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
Perform other related duties as required.
Requirements and Qualifications
? High school diploma or GED required; technical certification or associate degree in industrial maintenance preferred. ? 5+ years of experience in industrial maintenance, manufacturing, or a related environment. ? Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and repair industrial machinery. ? Electrical troubleshooting skills. ? Results oriented and able to handle multiple projects. ? Must possess good communication skills, both written and oral. ? Demonstrates organizational and team building skills. ? Strong attention to detail.
