We seek a hard-working and reliable Mixing Assistan to join our growing team. In this role, you will work in our Mixing Department. you will be responsible for assisting the Chemical Mixers with their daily work activities. We prefer candidates with at least 1 years of experience, but we are willing to train.
Duties and Responsibilities
Transferring all finished/intermediate products in containers.
Cleaning all mixing equipment and utensils.
Making solutions for formulations.
Assisting in taking samples of raw materials when necessary.
Putting labels on containers.
Ensure all raw materials used that are returned to inventory have the right quantity and information on containers and containers are in good condition.
Driving the forklift when necessary.
Assisting in other areas when necessary.
Requirements and Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
Must be able to read/comprehend written and oral instructions in English, including safety rules, operating procedures, product recipes, material identification, etc.
Able to lift 50 gallon drums of chemicals.
Able to drive a fork lift – have a valid fork lift certification (preferred).
Previous experience mixing / blending chemical.
