We are seeking a candidate with excellent communication skills and an upbeat attitude. Candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced public setting. Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
Duties and Responsibilities
Provide excellent customer service in person, by phone, and via email.
Maintain professional appearance and represent the agency favorably.
Deliver Directly Observed Therapy (DOT) medications to tuberculosis patients.
Interact with internal departments, the public, community service providers, and state agencies.
Maintain records and assist with program reports in the Epidemiology Clinic.
Collect and submit bi-weekly timesheets.
Maintain referral rosters and cross-reference with state data.
Collect and enter clinical and program data into Electronic Medical Records and the North Carolina Electronic Disease Database.
Generate analytical and statistical reports to monitor clinic performance.
Assist with contract addendum preparation. Track supplies and orders; obtain vendor quotes; submit travel reimbursements and expenditures.
Prepare and maintain alphabetized files of clinical and program data.
Receive, distribute, and send clinic mail daily and as needed.
Maintain and clean exam rooms after use.
Obtain vital signs from patients.
Work in negative-pressure environments for airborne disease isolation.
Crosstrain in the Sexually Transmitted Infections Clinic and assist as needed
Requirements and Qualifications
High school diploma required, Bachelor's degree a plus
Prior administrative experience required
CNA experience required
Attention to detail
Desire to be proactive and create a positive experience for others
Good communication skills
