We are looking for a master multi-tasker with excellent communication skills and an upbeat attitude and considerable knowledge of CPT coding and ICD 10 Diagnosis Coding. Candidates should be able to assist patients and all visitors to the agency by handling office tasks, providing polite and professional assistance via phone, mail, and e-mail, and generally being a helpful and positive presence in the workplace. Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
Duties and Responsibilities
Accurately identify and process medical and billing data for claims processing by entering patient information into computer system to determine fee scale eligibility and other fees
Bill patients for services rendered
Collect payments
Scheduling meeting and appointments
Answer phones and patient inquiries
General administrative duties
Additional assigned duties as needed
Requirements and Qualifications
Prior medical office experience
Excellent computer skills
Attention to detail
Desire to be proactive and create a positive experience for others
Good communication skills
High school diploma or equivalent
