We are seeking a hard-working and reliable Cycle Counter/Inventory Clerk to join our growing operation. In this role, you will work in our manufacturing department, operating machines and setting production needs. Under the supervision of the warehouse manager, be responsible for:
Duties and Responsibilities
Perform the daily cycle counting program, monitor, and provide results.
Perform a physical count of inventory, material receipts, shipments in progress, work in process, and any other inventory.
Assist with the investigation of discrepancies, imbalances, and root causes of inaccuracies.
Utilized modern material handling equipment as needed, including but not limited to forklifts, overhead cranes, and other material handling equipment.
Utilize the functions of the Warehouse Management System to perform daily tasks.
Assist Receiving/Shipping personnel in ensuring materials are properly labeled, including correct units of measure.
Assist with troubleshooting of issues at the time of receipt/shipment.
Review various source documents, such as but not limited to G.O.’s, Bills of Material, computer outputs, and engineering drawings, to determine current material requirements.
Uses and maintains reports, spreadsheets, and other information as needed to accomplish tasks.
Processes and performs data entry of returns and returns materials to the proper storage location.
Assists with other inventory procedures as requested.
Requirements and Qualifications
HS diploma or GED.
Good written and oral communication skills.
A minimum of 12 months of experience in Manufacturing or Logistics.
Possesses the ability to use SAP to retrieve and track relevant information needed to complete job duties.
Experience with manual inventory methods (not just automated scanning systems)
PIV (Powered Industrial Vehicle) experience
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office systems (testing may be required).
