We are seeking a hard-working and reliable assembler with mechanical assembly experience to join our growing operation. In this role, you will work in our manufacturing department, operating machines and setting production needs. Under the supervision of the warehouse manager, be responsible for operating one or more types of CNC production equipment. Selects appropriate settings and makes adjustments as necessary to complete tasks accurately, in accordance with specifications, and in a timely manner. Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the machining field, and is able to use common small measuring devices. Performs work according to instructions and pre-established guidelines for the job. Follows established quality and safety standards
Duties and Responsibilities
Assembly: Assemble, fit, and install components (e.g., motors, engines, conveyors) using hand and power tools.
Blueprint Interpretation: Read, analyze, and follow technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to ensure accurate assembly.
Quality Control: Inspect and test finished products and sub-assemblies for proper function and defects.
Preparation: Prepare and organize parts, materials, and equipment for production.
Maintenance: Clean and maintain work areas, tools, and equipment, including basic, routine repairs.
Documentation: Document production data and report any malfunctions or defects.
Requirements and Qualifications
Mechanical Aptitude: Strong understanding of mechanical principles and ability to work with machinery.
Technical Skills: Ability to use precision measuring tools (e.g., tape measures, calipers).
Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in assembling complex, precise components.
Experience/Education: A high school diploma or GED is generally required, with prior manufacturing experience preferred.
