Job Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Office Support Specialist to join our team. This position will provide essential office support, including handling daily administrative tasks, assisting with orientation processes, and performing physical duties related to safety equipment handling. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook, and possess a positive attitude with the ability to perform physical activities as part of the job.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide general office support with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
Utilize Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook to manage documents, emails, and data.
Assist in the orientation process for new employees, ensuring they have the necessary information and equipment.
Help manage and pull safety equipment as needed. This includes:
Going up and down stairs.
Lifting, reaching, pulling, pushing, and standing for extended periods.
Bending, stooping, and kneeling as required for safety equipment retrieval.
Ensure the proper maintenance and organization of office space and safety equipment.
Other administrative duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook is required.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for long periods.
Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
Prior office or administrative experience is a plus.
