. General Overview: This role is required to ensure proper workflow of the department and adhere to the company’s quality standard. 2. Role and Responsibilities include, but not limited to:? Plans, directs, monitors, and reports on the daily operation of the department.? Completes daily production plan by scheduling and assigning personnel as needed; establishing shift priorities; monitoring progress and quality problems; reporting on the results of the shift production.? Maintains work flow by monitoring steps of the process; observing control points and equipment; monitoring personnel and resources; monitoring reporting procedures and appraising job results.? Maintains staff by training, coaching, and disciplining employees. Resolves personnel problems by investigating issues; identifying solutions; recommending action.? Responsible for the safety, quality, and productivity in the assigned work areas within the department.? Will be responsible for ensuring proper emergency protocol is followed.? Will be responsible for department start up and plant shut down.? Responsible for and reports on the shifts efficiency’s and scrap rates.? Ensure a safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel on the proper use of equipment and resources.? Reporting any non-conformance at the work cells to the department manager.? Is crossed trained in other department job positions JOB ANALYSIS 3. Injection molding experience 10 plus years.? Supervision experience 5 plus years Preferred Skills? The ability to prioritize production work orders and staff.? Ability to work overtime? Mechanically inclined.? Good communication skills.? Ability to read, write, and speak English? The ability to identify employee capabilities and develop employees to a higher level of knowledge and ability.? Information systems; able to learn and utilize ERP systems and support systems.? Organizational support; follows policies and procedures.? Ability to solve problems by analyze data information and reports. 4.
