Material Handler in Liberty, NC
Job Summary
We have partnered with a local full access cabinet manufacturer. In this role you will be responsible for material handling finishing, and assembly. Cross training is required, other duties assigned by team lead or supervisor.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Be aware of team goals and objectives that need to be met
• Assemble and pack cabinets
• Maintain a safe and clean workspace
• Perform quality checks at or above expectations
• Complete work in a timely manner
• Communicates all defects or problems regarding production issues to Lead, Technician, and/or Supervisor
• Work as a team
• Use handheld sander to sand cabinets
• Other duties as assigned
Requirements and Qualifications
• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Must be willing to submit to drug screen and criminal background checks
• Must be willing to work 8 to 10 hour shifts and Saturdays; overtime available
• Prior manufacturing experience is desired, but not required
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Must be able to lift at least 50lbs
• Must be able to stand for prolonged times; requires frequent bending, squatting, and twisting motions
