Job Description
We are hiring an experienced Lead in Training Associate to join our growing operation. In this role, you will work in our manufacturing facility performing duties such as machine operation, forklift operation, train new hires, collaborate with management team, and participate/contribute in and with production meetings.
Requirements and Responsibilities
Ability to communicate effectively
Must be able to work 3rd shift; initial training will be on 1st shift, then you will transition to 3rd shift
Heavy lifting and carrying is required
Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check
Must be able to read and understand English
Must be able to perform basic math
Will be subject to extreme heat (seasonally) temperatures
Will be subject to hazards, including a variety of physical conditions, such as proximity to moving mechanical parts
Must be able to handle standing for extended periods of time.
Must be able to use upper extremities to exert force in order to lift, carry, drag, haul or tug objects in a sustained motion
Fill in where/as needed
Ability to work as a team
Ability to operate forklift
Ability to operate machines
Ability to read a tape measure
Must have leadership skills
Ability to manage people effectively
Must be able to use hand tools and power tools
Will be required to wear safety glasses and other PPE required in production areas
Must wear comfortable shoes, no open toe/heel shoes
