Inventory Control opportunity in Sanford, NC
Summary: Assist with inventory in shipping/ receiving areas in order to maintain an accurate inventory of all parts/products/raw materials coming in and going out
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform continuous physical counts of raw tubing and component inventory throughout the year
- Perform continuous physical counts of finished goods inventory throughout the year
- Make necessary inventory adjustments and track inventory errors
- Experience with cycle counting procedures a Plus
- Experience with MRP or another type of manufacturing/inventory management system a plus
- Able to read a tape measure
- Self-Motivated and able to work with little supervision
- Receive and inspect incoming packages in the shipping area
- Accurately store components in correct locations and organize locations regularly
- Ability to operate forklift and/or crane
- All other duties assigned

Mathematics - Using basic mathematics to solve problems; read tape measures to 1/32 of an inch.

Reading Comprehension - Understanding written sentences and paragraphs in work related documents. Able to read basic blueprints, calipers and micrometers.
Critical Thinking - Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
Language: must be proficient in English; reading, comprehending and understanding.
Education and/or Experiences
High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate) preferred
Computer Skills: Basic knowledge of computers.

- Safety Glasses ANSI Z87 with side shields everywhere in the plant - Provided by HT
- Sturdy Work Shoes hard sole / leather uppers (no tennis shoes unless designated to meet OSHA safety standards)
- Hearing Protection Provided by HT
- Gloves Latex (as needed) Provided by HT
