Job Summary: As a three-man operator team, the Hanger Bale Associate is responsible for assisting the Hanger Bale Specialist in the efficient and safe operation of the Hanger Bale machines. Reports to Supervisor.
Knowledge | Experience | Skills
Highschool diploma or GED required. 1-2 yrs. of manufacturing experience preferred. Must operate forklift. Must be able to communicate effectively and work as part of a team. Must be able take direction and follow instructions. Must have good attendance and good performance reviews.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Unload bales from trailer
Feed bales onto shredder conveyor
Monitor flow of material to keep consistent flow going to grinder
Remove scrap metal Gaylords when filled, weigh and label and place in designated area
Monitor aspiration system, removing waste when bags are filled, this material will be baled and labeled and placed in designated area
Monitor sink float system and adjust material flow as needed by coordinating material feed with other personnel
Remove material after sorting, this material (natural PP,MC PP,PS and all other) will be weighed labeled and placed in designated areas
Work with the other Team Leaders to coordinate operation of entire separation line
Sweep and keep work area organized clean at all times
Must learn all phases of the operation and help in other areas when needed
Lift up to 50 lbs.
