General Operator Opportunity in Laurinburg, NC
Job Summary
We are seeking a hard-working and reliable General Operators to join our growing operation. In this role, you will be assigned to teams supporting a variety of responsibilities. You could spend time inspecting and maintaining product, packaging, cleaning, supporting maintenance work, warehousing and shipping product. Monitoring and operating equipment. Candidates will be trained and certified to operate Forklifts;forklift experience is a plus. You must be meticulous and ensure all jobs assigned are completed in a timely manner. Candidates must have machine operating experience of at least 1+ years.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Lifting product up to 50-60lb bags
- Make independent decisions to adjust changing conditions and anticipate needs
- Safely perform duties in timely fashion while maintaining quality of product
- Required to work independently or with a team as needed for jobs assigned
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Working in warehouse conditions to include hot and cold temps
Requirements and Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Reliable Transportation to the site and be able to arrive at the worksite as instructed
- Forklift certification and experience a plus not required
- Machine Operating Experience 1+ years
- Solid work history that demonstrates reliability
- Able to work on your feet for 8-hour, 10-hour, 12-hour shifts
- Good communication skills verbally and written
- Variable Shift Schedules must be able to work rotational shifts to include, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd based on production and working overtime as needed
- Submit to Drug Screen and Background Search
