Full-Charge Bookkeeper / QuickBooks SpecialistPosition Overview Mega Force is seeking a highly skilled, meticulous, and self-directed Full-Charge Bookkeeper to manage end-to-end financial records and daily accounting operations for a client.
The ideal candidate possesses expert-level mastery of QuickBooks Desktop and/or Online, strong general ledger acumen, and the ability to maintain accurate, audit-ready books. You will serve as the financial backbone of our day-to-day operations, working closely with leadership and external tax professionals to deliver clean reconciliations, timely reporting, and efficient cash flow oversight.
Key Responsibilities
Comprehensive QuickBooks Management: Set up, maintain, audit, and optimize company files, charts of accounts, vendor/customer profiles, and automated bank/credit card feeds.
Accounts Payable: Verify, code, and enter vendor bills; manage approval workflows; process payments with checks, ACH, credit card; and resolve vendor discrepancies.
Accounts Receivable: Generate and issue accurate client billings/invoices, track aging reports, record receipts, and execute friendly, professional collections.
Reconciliations: Perform monthly bank, credit card, loan, and balance sheet account reconciliations to ensure complete alignment down to the penny.
Year-End Closing: Organize and clean general ledger accounts, adjust journal entries, and coordinate financial packages with external CPA/tax preparers.
Internal Controls & Workflow Optimization: Identify opportunities to automate workflows, clean up duplicate or legacy data, and ensure strict internal recordkeeping standards.
Required Qualifications & Experience
5+ years of full-charge bookkeeping or corporate accounting experience.
Expert-Level QuickBooks Proficiency: Demonstrated expertise in QuickBooks Online and/or QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise/Pro, including complex journal entries, chart of accounts customization, class/location tracking, job costing, and advanced reporting.
QuickBooks ProAdvisor Certification strongly preferred or required.
Strong command of US GAAP fundamentals, double-entry bookkeeping, and accrual vs. cash accounting principles.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, data formatting.
High degree of confidentiality, accuracy, and attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a professional demeanor.
Preferred Qualifications
Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
Prior experience handling multi-entity bookkeeping or real estate / property / professional services accounting.
Experience integrating third-party apps e.g., Bill.com, Dext/Receipt Bank, payroll portals with QuickBooks.
