Floater We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Floater Warehouse Associate to join our production team. Our company manufactures cushion and padding materials used between carpet and hardwood flooring. The Floater position plays a key role in supporting daily warehouse and production operations by assisting wherever help is needed.
This position is ideal for someone who is flexible, motivated, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Responsibilities
Assist different departments throughout the warehouse and production floor as needed
Help machine operators and production associates maintain workflow efficiency
Move raw materials, cushions, and finished products safely throughout the facility
Stack, package, label, and prepare products for shipment
Load and unload materials manually or with warehouse equipment
Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe at all times
Support quality checks to ensure products meet company standards
Fill in for team members during breaks, absences, or high production periods
Follow all safety procedures, company policies, and production guidelines
Perform other general labor and warehouse duties as assigned
Work Environment
Fast-paced warehouse and manufacturing setting
Exposure to dust, machinery, and production equipment
Requires constant movement and physical activity throughout the shift
Requirements and Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Valid drivers license
Forklift certification and experience a plus
Solid work history that demonstrates reliability; warehouse work experience is a plus
Able to work on your feet for 8-hour shifts and lift 30 lbs. regularly
Basic computer skills for maintaining inventory logs and databases
Good communication skills
