Mega Force has an immediate opening for an temporary position for Finance Analyst. The Finance Analyst will collect and analyze financial information related to the organization's expenses, seeking way to improve accuracy and assigned to the appropriate projects and departments.
Job Responsibilities consist of but not limited to:
*Analyzes expenses and cost transactions; ensure that transactions are recorded accurately and assigned to the appropriate projects and departments.
*Maintain standard cost system process and methodologies.
*Review, calculate and update standard costs as needed to ensure accuracy of inventory evaluations.
*Balance warehouse system to accounting system and monitor integrity of inventory data.
*Prepares Financial' s monthly with explanation of variances.
*Provides detailed financial analysis and reports of expenses, includes breakdowns of project costs, forecasts of remaining expenses, and opportunities to increase efficiency.
*Prepares periodic cost reconciliation reports tracking data such as changing labor and supply costs
. *Prepares quarterly profitability workbooks by Customer, part number, etc.
*Prepares Customer Profitability review templates as requested.
*Supports other Departments as needed.
*Create or update SOP's on all standardized work
. *Cross train others all standard processes as directed.
*Assist in Audits - Financial, Inventory, JSOX, etc.
*Performs other related duties, as assigned.
Position Requirements:
*Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business required.
*At least three years of related experience required.
*Excellent analytical skills.
*Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
*Thorough understanding of cost accounting principles and procedures.
*Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software as well as accounting software.
*Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
