Mega Force Staffing of Kinston is currently seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Facility Technician to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our facility by performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and executing repairs across various systems and equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.
Responsibilities
General Construction
Building electrical routing, removal, and repair for low and high-voltage
Plumbing systems repair
Air conditioner and compressor repair/maintenance
Knowledge of documentation and personal computer applications, particularly database management software
Review and determine priorities of work for facilities
Coordinate and track maintenance tools
Ensure Code compliance with Federal, State, and Local laws with respect to health, safety, and environmental
Assist with building space planning and budget management
Participate in cleaning and other facility tasks
Knowledge of drywall, cement, tile/flooring, roofing, and other standard materials used for buildings
Responsible for repair of damages and facility upgrades
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
2+ years of experience with facilities maintenance
