Electrical/Bench Assembler Opportunity in Clinton, NC
Job Summary
We are seeking a hard-working and reliable assembler with a electrical assembly experience to join our growing operation. In this role, you will work in our manufacturing department, install electrical boxes/components, conduits and cables in accordance to electrical drawings. Performs work to instructions and pre-established guidelines for the job. Follows established quality and safety standards
Duties and Responsibilities
• Assembly: Assemble pull boxes per instructions. Install necessary fittings, cut conduit, cables to predefined lengths, and assemble with safety devices.
• Blueprint Interpretation: Read, analyze, and follow technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to ensure accurate assembly. Perform machine and hand conduit bending base on predefined angel and radius.
o Perform cabling of entire escalator per job specific electrical drawings and/or installer/technician instructions.
• Quality Control: Inspect and test finished products and sub-assemblies for proper function and defects.
o Install and secure all safety switches, light fixtures and various electrical components per instructions.
• Preparation: Prepare and organize parts, materials, and equipment for production.
• Maintenance: Clean and maintain work areas, tools, and equipment, including basic, routine repairs.
• Documentation: Document production data and report any malfunctions or defects.
Requirements and Qualifications
• Mechanical Aptitude: Strong understanding of mechanical principles and ability to work with machinery.
• Technical Skills: Ability to use precision measuring tools (e.g., tape measures, calipers).
• Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in assembling complex, precise components.
• Experience/Education: High school diploma or GED is generally required, with prior manufacturing experience preferred.
• Standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, climbing, kneeling and reaching and handling.
