Position Summary
Seeking a dependable and customer-focused Delivery & Furniture Installation Associate to join our team. This position is responsible for delivering furniture and furnishings to schools, colleges, businesses, and retail locations while providing exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will safely operate a box truck, unload and assemble furniture, and ensure every installation is completed professionally and efficiently.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
• Drive a company box truck to customer locations (CDL not required).
• Load, transport, unload, and deliver furniture safely and efficiently.
• Assemble and install furniture using hand tools and power tools.
• Read and accurately use a tape measure.
• Follow assembly instructions and installation specifications.
• Provide professional and courteous customer service during deliveries and installations.
• Complete delivery paperwork and maintain accurate records.
• Inspect furniture for damage before and after delivery.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
Physical Requirements
• Frequently lift and carry furniture and materials.
• Bend, stoop, kneel, push, pull, and stand for extended periods.
• Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Safely handle furniture and equipment throughout the workday.
Qualifications
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Experience driving a box truck preferred.
• Experience assembling furniture or using hand and power tools preferred.
• Ability to accurately read a tape measure.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Reliable, dependable, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
