Front Office Receptionist/Swithboard Operator in Dunn, NC
Job Summary
We seek a hard-working and reliable Office Receptionist and Switchboard Operator for our medical practice. The front office assistant is the first point of contact as customers come into the office. You greet customers, collect their information, answer any questions, schedule appointments, and verify insurance information.
Duties and Responsibilities
Act as a receptionist to the site administration.
Operate a switchboard.
Receive incoming calls and makes station connections.
Take and transmit messages.
Give routine information as requested.
Process incoming and outgoing mail.
Perform general clerical work as assigned, including typing tasks.
Place long-distance calls.
Direct visitors to the appropriate offices professionally and courteously.
Work cooperatively and courteously with supervisor and co-workers.
Maintain various files
Requirements and Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Able to work on your feet for 8-hour shifts and lift 30 lbs. Regularly
Basic computer skills for maintaining inventory logs and databases
Good communication skills
Submit to Drug Screen and Background/Credit Search
Able to work a rotating scheduled
