We are seeking a hard-working and reliable Customer Service/Sales for our hardware store. Customer Service/Sales associates provide fast, friendly service by actively seeking out customers to assess their needs and provide assistance. These associates have an emphasis on department and product knowledge, providing information on product features, and knowing related items to sell an entire project.
Duties and Responsibilities
Ensure that the customer receives outstanding service by providing a friendly environment, including, greeting and acknowledging every customer.
Communicate customer request to management
Assist in processing and replenishing merchandise
Aid customers in locating merchandise
Maintain telephone etiquette when assisting customers that call.
Support office with administrative and secretarial task
Maintain an awareness of all promotions and advertisements.
Ability to operate a manual pallet jack
maintain the in-stock condition of assigned areas, and ensure that it is clean, shoppable, and safe
Requirements and Qualifications
Able to work on your feet for 8-hour shifts and lift 30 lbs. regularly
Basic computer skills for maintaining inventory logs and databases
Good communication skills
Submit to Drug Screen and Background Search
Ability to work varied hours/days, including weekends and holidays as needed
