We are seeking a hard-working and reliable Brake Press Operator to join our growing operation. In this role, you will operate a Brake Press, Punch press, and Shear machinery. You must be meticulous and ensure each order is filled accurately. All candidates required to have previous metal fabrication operation experience and blue print reading.
Duties and Responsibilities
Set up and operate press brake machinery
Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, work orders, and technical specifications.
Select appropriate tooling, dies, and adjustments for varying material types and thicknesses.
Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and tape measures.
Load, position, and unload sheet metal materials safely.
Keep the work area clean, perform routine machine upkeep, and follow all safety protocols.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace
Schedule Monday through Thursday 5:00 AM to 3:30 PM, OT Fridays as required
Requirements and Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Prior brake press operation is preferred, but motivated candidates willing to learn can be trained.
Solid work history that demonstrates reliability
Ability to lift up to 45lbs and stand for extended periods
