Job Summary

We are seeking a few hard-working and reliable Assemblers to join our growing operation. In this role, you will be working in our Assembly room, putting together dishwasher panels. We prefer candidates who have some warehouse experience, but we are willing to train.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Wear an ESD smock and anti-static ankle straps when in the assembly area. 
  • Must assemble washing machine parts 
  • Perform various final assembly tasks; this will include quality inspections as well as inserting parts into the testing machine.
  • Expected to produce at a rate of 90% or better within 3 days of training, EE will have to assemble parts at a fast pace. 
  • There are three steps to the assembly process. 
  • EE will take frames out of the crate (brought over by FLO) EE will place a frame on table/ assembly fixtures and will insert a control panel.
  • EE may use several tools such as an arbor press, pneumatic screwdriver.
  • EE may also place frames on assembly fixtures.
  • Once EE has inserted the control panel EE will pass the frame to the next station for the next step of completion. 
  • EE will inspect the frame and control panel to assure quality is up to par and pass the frame to the next station
  • Last station EE will take part and print labels to be place on the back of the control panel. 
  • EE will then place the frame into the testing unit once they have scanned the label and placed a label on the back of the control panel. 
  • Housekeeping - EE must make sure station is clean and must account for their tools at all times. 
  • EE must be able to correctly complete scrap tickets and place scrap parts in proper locations.

Requirements and Qualifications
  • Must be able to stand for long periods 
  • Grip and grasp with hands 
  • Lift up to 20 lbs.
  • bend and stoop
  • Able to work with small parts.
  • Able to work in a fast work environment 
  • Must be able to follow all safety and PPE requirements
  • Most positions require the use hand tools and air pneumatic tools 
  • Ability to work in warm and cool conditions, 8 hours shifts with flexibility for overtime and Saturdays.
