We are looking for a master multi-tasker with excellent communication skills and an upbeat attitude. Candidates should be able to assist management and all visitors to the company by handling office tasks, providing polite and professional assistance via phone, mail, and e-mail, and generally being a helpful and positive presence in the workplace. This position is from Monday-Friday from 8am-5pm, but will require mandatory overtime and increase in hours as needed.
Duties and Responsibilities
Handling office tasks, such as data entry, filing, generating reports, and maintaining records
Answering phones in a positive and professional manner
Routing calls to appropriate destination
Receives, screens, and reviews correspondence; assigns it to appropriate persons
Use of computer software to enter, retrieve, verify, update, research, and/or authorize actions
Extensive public contact in a liaison role between the public and department
Requirements and Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Prior administrative and/or customer service experience
Excellent computer and typing skills
Experience using Microsoft Word and Excel
Attention to detail
Desire to be proactive and create a positive experience for others
Good communication skills
Ability to sit or stand for long periods, push, pull, and lift up to 25 lbs.
