The accounting coordinator will provide administrative support for the accounting team. This role will have the primary responsibility of servicing the needs of our customers. We are looking to fill this role with someone that is a team player, detail-oriented, and excels at multitasking.
Duties and responsibilities
Responsible for routine customer collection calls concerning past due balances
Provide invoices and statements upon request as well as maintaining the customer account
Processing invoices, credit memos, and RMA’s
Posting customer payments
Process customer credit information to enable the release of sales orders for shipping
Importing payments from our bank into NetSuite and making corrections as needed
Print and enter any special orders
Assist in covering the switchboard for receptionist breaks
Other duties as assigned
Experience or education requirements
Associates degree in Business/Accounting or equivalent work experience required
Debt collection experience preferred
Experience with Microsoft Excel and 10-key calculator required
