We are seeking a hard-working and reliable Accounting Specialist to join our operation. The primary purpose of this position is to be responsible for managing tax-related tasks, assisting with compliance matters, and ensuring accurate reporting.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Customer Service
• File & pay multi-state monthly sales tax
• Accounts Payable/data entry of vendor billing into A/P
• Maintain accurate tax-related records, including tax filings, tax payments, and supporting documentation
• Familiar with and able to file and obtain transportation records for IFTA filings.
Requirements and Qualifications:
• Great attention to detail
• Minimum of 2 years experience as an Accounting Specialist
• Familiarity with tax regulations and compliance requirements
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite/Excel
• Submit to Drug Screen and Background Search
