3-Pedal Forklift DriverJob Opportunity We are looking for an experienced and safety-focused 3-Pedal Forklift Driver to join our manufacturing/warehouse team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating a sit-down 3-pedal forklift and safely moving materials throughout a busy facility. Job Duties
Operate a 3-pedal sit-down forklift safely and efficiently.
Load and unload trucks and trailers.
Move raw materials, pallets, and finished products throughout the facility.
Supply production lines with materials and remove finished products.
Stack and stage products in designated areas.
Perform pre-shift forklift inspections and report any issues.
Safely use the accelerator, brake, and inching/clutch pedal.
Properly operate forks, mast, and hydraulic controls.
Maintain stable and balanced loads while transporting materials.
Follow designated forklift traffic routes and pedestrian safety procedures.
Use caution around corners, doors, ramps, and intersections.
Maintain a safe operating speed and proper stopping distance.
Follow all company safety procedures and PPE requirements.
Keep the work area clean and organized.
Complete inventory or scanning tasks as required.
Perform other warehouse and production duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Previous 3-pedal forklift experience required.
Ability to safely operate a sit-down forklift.
Knowledge of forklift safety and load-handling procedures.
Ability to read and follow work instructions.
Basic reading and math skills.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Reliable attendance and punctuality.
Willingness to follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE.
Physical Requirements
Ability to sit and operate a forklift for extended periods.
Ability to enter and exit the forklift safely.
Ability to bend, reach, and turn while performing material-handling tasks.
Ability to work around moving equipment, pallets, machinery, and production materials.
