The Production – Assembler is responsible for assembling various components and materials based on work orders, while maintaining all Safety and Quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Read and interpret schematics and assembly instructions.
Correctly assemble different product lines as assigned.
Perform work within production functions and learn/assist warehousing functions as needed.
Test components and assembled parts for quality tolerances during the assembly process.
Identify defects in various components to ensure quality control.
Meet established daily goals based on order volume and needs.
Ensure all safety processes and procedures are followed.
Ensure production areas, warehouse floor, work areas and requirement (including tools) are clean and safe.
Assist in training new and temp employees.
HS Diploma or GED.
1+ years’ experience in assembly/production work is preferred.
Must be able to lift 35 lbs. without help.
Comfortable with repetitive and stationary work requirements.
Experience with hand tools or machines used to assemble parts.
Ability to work well with others in a dynamic team environment.
Previous experience in Manufacturing / Assembly (preferred)
