We arehiring in Washington, NC. We are looking for Waste Water workers who are looking to grow within an organization at a long-term full-time job. Uses chemicals and monitors a flotation process to treat all wastewater from the plant. Disposes of filtered sludge and cleans tanks. Responsible for the plant-recycling program.
Starting Pay: $16.56

Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED preferred
Must be able to read and write English.
Mixes chemicals for water treatment or uses premixed chemicals.
Maintains water treatment work and production records.
Rakes sludge beds and shovels dry sludge for disposal. Follows correct procedures to avoid wasting dirt.
Takes periodic samples of the cement clear water pond and maintains accurate sampling records.
Performs minor maintenance on the equipment such as the pumps and baler.
Dumps waste, pressure washes, scrapes bed walls, paints, and performs other housekeeping duties in the environmental area.
