Purchasing Customer Service Rep
Mega Force Staffing has an immediate opening for a purchasing customer service representative in the Garner area. This position will consist of job duties such as: erifies nomenclature and specifications of purchase requests; answers both Internal customers’ questions concerning price and availability of items, if necessary, suggests alternate items or options to satisfy the customer’s needs. In some instances will suggest add-on items so the order will meet the vendor’s requirements in terms of Min $ Amts or Freight; utilizes the computer system to provide answers for customers, including available inventory, processing support for PreSold, Fast Ex, Ship Direct, or Special Order PO’s, and any other information necessary to provide satisfaction to both internal and external customers, Consults catalogs and or Vendor Customer Service personnel to obtain prices, product technical information & specifications in order to insure product meets the customers’ needs, Communicates with various parties including customers, vendors, co-workers, and supervisors via phone, emails, or face-to-face communication, Locates information from various resources within the corporate office to meet the customer’s needs and implements purchasing protocol when providing information and assisting customers.
- 2-3 years of similar customer service experience
- Prior purchasing experience is a plus but not a requirement
- Candidates must have very strong computer skills, customer service based phone experience, the ability to multitask and work well with a team
- Candidates must be willing to submit to a background and credit check
- High School Diploma/GED
